The Journey Continues – Magick Works and the Law Of Attraction is Real

Quickening of Abstract Visualization

My adventure through life is sometimes so unexpected, so revealing and so surprising that it astounds me. Life never ceases to startle me.

You all are familiar with how long I’ve been walking this path, but what you probably aren’t aware of is the conflicting views that have lived inside of me just as long. While I believe in magick and the Law of Attraction, because I’ve seen them work, there’s also a skeptic that lives inside me as well. It’s kind of like two different parts of me saying, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” and “I’ll see it when I believe it.” Sometimes it makes being me a little strange and confusing.

I’m not sure how that happened. Perhaps it came from wanting to believe in all the things we can’t normally see, because I’ve seen some of them, but also not wanting to be gullible. I’m not sure. It does, however, create some real moments of doubt and impatience at times.

Recently, twelve days ago to be exact, I took my 2001 Mustang convertible in to have the brakes replaced on the rear when my mechanic called me to the repair bay. He started showing me the amount of rust that was eating away at the frame of my car and telling me that maybe I want to rethink putting another $500 into the car. He picked at some of the rust and large chunks came off and fell to the floor. He went on to tell me that the frame could go at any time and, although I was the customer and he would do what I asked him to do, he hated to see me spend that kind of money and then have the whole car collapse from the frame breaking.

I felt like my head was going to explode! It’s not that I didn’t know the car had a rusty frame. I’d been told that about 2 ½ years ago, but couldn’t do anything about it for financial reasons. Life has been throwing us some interesting lessons over the course of the last 16 months, some of which I’ve chronicled here, and I just didn’t think another car was a possibility.

So, I told the mechanic to just let it down and I’d drive it home and talk to my husband about possibilities. I was confused and devastated! I’d been driving this car for 14 years and I love it. Now there was no way around it, I had to get something else.

I’ve had a picture of a purple 2015 Honda CR-Z framed on my desk for a while now. This is a car that, to me, was both sporty and practical. I look at it every day and ask the Universe to show me how to make it a reality for myself. Now, I knew that a brand new car was beyond my means unless a miracle happened, so I wasn’t sure what to do.

By the time my husband got home, I had figured out that if there was some way to combine a few bills to lower the payments, I might be able to at least get something used. I told him there was no more fixing the Mustang, no patches that could be done, nothing. He told me to start looking and see what I could do.

I found a 2013 black Honda CR-Z in a neighboring town and sent an email to find out if it was still available. It had low mileage, was a one owner vehicle, and the price was very inviting. It was a manual transmission, however, and although I can drive one, at age 67, I really wanted an automatic. A salesman called me and told me the car was still available. I told him about the Mustang and he said they wouldn’t be able to give me anymore than $300 for it. Ugh!

My next call was to the bank – and this is where my story starts getting interesting. I told the loan gal all that was going on and what I had in mind to do, if they would be willing to work with me. I told her about the car I had found and she started taking information and crunching numbers. She said with tax and title I would probably want to borrow $13,000 to cover the cost of taxes, title and tags. Thirteen! Why that’s the number I associate with Hecate. Was She trying to tell me something? I got my answer in a rather humorous way. The loan gal, Katy, then asked me if I wanted to send this through regular approval channels or try the instant approval where all she did was hit a button. Before I could answer, she said, “Never mind. I accidentally hit the approval button and your approved!” Really? Seriously? I was amazed.

Let me back track just a little and tell you I’ve been working with a binaural video, about attracting money, on YouTube twice a day for about a month. Wow! Was this starting to work? It seemed like it, but that little voice inside was going, “Believe it when the money’s in your hand.”

Anyhoo…I called the guy at the car lot and told him it would probably be Friday before I could get there. He said he hoped it didn’t sell before then. He also said he had learned over the years that if something is supposed to happen, it will. Well, the car sold that night. Now I had the money and no car to buy so it was back to the proverbial drawing board.

So I ask you, because I’ve asked myself this, did that doubt I had about actually having the money create a vibration that took away the car? I may never know for sure but it does give one pause to think about the energies we put out with our thoughts and how they could be affecting our desire to succeed in any area of our lives.

The Full Moon was last weekend. I decided that it was time to ask for help. I wrote down what I ultimately wanted and also what I would take into consideration where another car was concerned. I went to my Altar, lit the incense and candle and told the Universe all about it.

The next day, I was scouring the car web sites for possibilities when I found a silver 2012 Honda CR-Z with fewer miles on it that the 2013 I had wanted to buy and it was an automatic.  I immediately emailed them to see if it was still available thinking they would probably get back to me on Monday. A short while later, the phone rang. It was the sales manager of the car dealership. I was surprised. I told him my story and told him I was interested in seeing the car. He said he would have them pull the ad and hold the car until I could get there on Monday! I was once again amazed! Here was a totally different response. This man was willing to hold the car until I could see it!  Was this another sign?

Monday we drove almost 2 hours to see it. It might be a 2012 but it looks brand new. I knew it was meant to be mine the minute I saw it. The salesman lowered the price and I bought the car and drove it home. Yes, when something is meant to happen it does – easily and quickly – even when your inner skeptic would have you doubt it.

Here’s my proof that magick works and the Law of Attraction is real…
