This has been a year of energy shifts too numerous to mention. Well, here comes another one. It’s called the Great Conjunction of 2020 and will be happening between the planet Jupiter and the planet Saturn on December 21st at 0 degrees Aquarius. There are a few astrologers who are heralding this as being the real beginning of the Age of Aquarius, especially since Pluto will be joining Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius in 2023.
This conjunction is being deemed the most important astrological transit of the year. In their words, “This is BIG.” They have good reason for saying that as these two planets will be shifting from Capricorn, an earth element sign, to Aquarius, an air element sign. Earth element signs deal with consumerism, material values, and money while air element signs deal with intellect, information, and collaboration.
The Jupiter-Saturn cycles are about 20 years in length, but the Jupiter-Saturn elemental cycles are approximately 200 years long. We’ve been in the earth elemental cycle since 1802. Being in the sign of Capricorn has made some level of despair the norm and ow we will be shifting into the air elemental where the time has come to liberate the individual in each of us!
A new age of enlightenment dawns as we shift from top-down hierarchies to networking and collaboration. As we proceed to 2023, when Pluto joins Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, we will witness profound transformation i both the world and society. Be aware though that elemental energy shifts always come with disruption initially.
So, what does this mean for each of you? Well, it all depends on where it takes place in your natal astrology chart. While it doesn’t hurt to just learn to align yourself with Aquarian energy in general, knowing which house this will occur in can help you immensely. Here, thanks to ElsaElsa: First Astrology Blog Ever, in the November 4, 2020 article is some information to help you. I quote:
1st house – How do you asset yourself in this world? How do you present? What do you represent? Come our of the closet. Liberate yourself!
2nd house – Poor self-esteem? Shock people by changing your story. Confidence in regards to building wealth and self-worth. Update what you consider to be “valuable.”
3rd house – Integrity to preach your truth. Shocking ideas that benefit humanity.
4th house – Expanding and solidifying your family and your security. Also, try committing to feeling (cautiously) optimistic.
5th house – Commit to get out more and have some fun. I’m talking about sunshine and outdoor sports! Creative innovation is also indicated.
6th house – Expand your presence in the workplace. Be consistently responsible, generous and helpful. Start a trend! Also get on a health kick. Come on! Why not?
7th house – Opportunity for serious relationship, particularly if you’re willing to reinvent yourself and/or look for a different kind of partner.
8th house – Oh my! Liberate yourself from your pathology. I’m talking about negative ways that are killing you over time.
9th house – Expand your knowledge and your reach. Open doors and learn. Open doors for others as well.
10th house – You’re on top right now. Set a good example for humanity! You may reinvent your job or your public image.

12th house – Pray for wisdom and guidance. Expect to be surprised by the answers.
And while we’re waiting for this occurrence to take place, we still have some other things happening right now.
There’s a Full Moon in Gemini happening on Monday, November 30th, at 4:30 a.m. EST that will also be a lunar eclipse which will be visible in all of the USA.
Moon in Gemini, by itself, stimulates the imagination and sometimes expresses itself through highly creative work. Add a Full Moon to that and there’s no limit to what you can do! There are a couple of possible downsides to the energy though. It may cause some to talk incessantly, sometimes to the point of being annoying. For others, that high creative ability may turn into an enjoyment in telling lies and forgetting everything about the truth.
Having said that, good things happen when the mind is kept active and directed into areas such as education or the arts. This energy can cause a person to be quick to rise to any physical or mental emergency. It’s like they don’t know the meaning of fear and consequently take chances that would devastate anyone else.
Be careful not to spread yourself too thin in any area of your life. That can cause a person to become excited in the moment but then not be able to follow through with things.
With this lunar eclipse, it might be a time to take a look at whether ones emotions are distorting their reason. Take a look at any superficiality or confusion you may have and allow the eclipse to take the power from what no longer serves you so that you have clarity of purpose.
On Tuesday, December 1st, Mercury begins its transit into Sagittarius at 2:51 p.m. EST. You may find your mind leading you to thoughts concerning religion, philosophy, law, or other studies related to higher education. Reason and memory may not be your strong suits with this transit, but it can make the mind swift and brilliant. This is a time when concentrating deeply for long periods of time will be difficult.
This energy can cause people to be more concerned with attitudes than facts. If one isn’t careful, they can lose sight of the truth if enough attention isn’t paid to factual information.
Here, the energy makes people honest at heart and not able to mislead anyone knowingly. People are more forthright, direct, and guileless under the influence of Mercury in Sagittarius. Some will say exactly what’s on their minds without pausing to consider its effect on other people.
This is a placement where people don’t deliberately hurt others with their remarks. They often interrupt themselves and others to relate a thought in the very moment it occurs to them, not meaning to be rude.
This is a very interesting, sometimes intense energy that can create interesting communication between people.
Wishing you a wonderful two weeks! Stay safe and stay positive!
