The next two weeks seem kind of quiet, astrologically, with only a small amount of planetary movement. If you stop and consider what those few things are, you may decide there’s actually some important energy movement happening.
Spring is just around the proverbial corner here in the northern hemisphere. Most people anxiously await the warmth of the Sun that provides warmer temperatures. They can’t wait to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and pleasant weather. Besides that, though, many can’t wait to be able to plant seeds that will grow flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
When you look at what will be happening astrologically, you’ll see that there’s a wonderful opportunity to plant powerful “seeds” for new beginnings. It begins with the New Moon in a very fruitful sign on March 17th and is then followed by the Sun moving into Aries on the 20th – another great energy for planting “seeds” and new beginnings.
It’s not always the quantity of things but the quality of them that provides us with the best opportunities in our lives.
We begin with the New Moon in Pisces that happens on Saturday, March 17th at 9:12 a.m. EDT.
Since the Sun is still in Pisces as well, this makes for a very fruitful combination for beginning anything you can imagine. In this sign, the imagination will be active and only needs to be steered into positive imagery to manifest that image into reality.
Psychic abilities are quite strong as well. There can be psychic experiences that manifest rather easily as well.
The down-side to this combination is that there is a tendency to be over-anxious, restless, and sometimes morbid in thought. Apathy can be a problem as well. Conscious awareness of the stream of your thoughts can help you to maintain a positive flow by immediately bringing to mind something of a joyful or grateful nature to flip the energy back and raising your vibration once more.
Not sure what your “new beginning” should be? With all this spiritual energy available, perhaps meditation or other inner journey work can help provide an answer.
Later that same day, March 17th, Mars will move into Capricorn at 12:41 p.m. EDT. This is a placement that provides a tremendous amount of ambitious energy.
People affected by this energy can be quite demanding of themselves and others. They want advancement and recognition. The energies provide a willingness to work hard for those things. Perhaps that’s because these same energies also instill integrity and perseverance in people.
That’s not to say there won’t be those who, under the influence of this energy might use people for the sake of status and/or material gain. For the most part, though, it provides energies that can help people accomplish goals. That’s a good thing.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we have the Sun moving into Aries on Tuesday March 20th at 12:16 p.m. EDT.
Known also as the Vernal Equinox, it is a time of balance, especially between day and night. Unlike the Autumn Equinox, where the Sun is waning, the Vernal Equinox is the time of the Sun’s waxing. The Earth becomes warmed by the Sun in the northern hemisphere and begins to come alive again. Trees and flowers begin to leaf out and grow and we begin to feel alive again.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiacal wheel. It represents new beginnings filled with determination. Have you ever seen a dandelion push its way through a concrete sidewalk? That’s Aries determination.
Sometimes Aries causes us to put our heads down and just charge ahead. Without looking, it could be disastrous. So, in your efforts to make a new beginning, to plant some seeds for your life, be sure to look where your going before you use that determination to reach your goal.
There’s also energies of courage, adventure, and a pioneering spirit. Do NOT be afraid to go where you’ve never gone before or, for that matter, where no one has gone before. You may find yourself with the most joyful outcome because you dared to venture forth.
To all those who are celebrating birthdays in Aries…
That’s it! Not much and yet a lot. I hope you have some fantastic adventures, plant some great seeds, and have some awesome outcomes!
