I find myself a little short on words this time, so I’ll just jump right to what’s happening for the next two weeks astrologically.
It all begins with a Full Moon in Virgo on Wednesday, March 1st at 7:51 p.m. EST. This is the first of two Full Moons that will be occurring this month.
You may find this particular Full Moon very beneficial if you are looking to break any bad habits that have affect your health. This is a position of the Moon that can make you very conscious of keeping fit. The idea is to just not become obsessed with it. “It” can be diet, exercise machines and weights, or even yoga or some other form of health reform. Becoming obsessed can make you irritable and that really doesn’t help your efforts to becoming healthy and fit.
Intellectual pursuits can be helpful for mental fitness. Reading, analyzing, solving problems of any kind all feed the health of the mind.
You may find yourself drawn to things of science or even the occult. Perhaps some reading and practicing clairvoyance, psychometry, or even the use of your intuition can be enlightening.
This Full Moon may also shine a light on some changes that should take place or a short journey that could provide insight.
You may fall in love with a new idea or an intellectual adventure when Mercury moves into Aries on Tuesday, March 6th at 2:35 a.m. EST. You might also find it a little harder to concentrate.
This energy can make those affected by it willful and headstrong. People can be come impatient with those who don’t see things their way.
This position of Mercury does have leadership qualities. Directing others comes naturally and can be successful if one remembers not to be a dictator. Wit and originality go much further to achieving your goals.
When Venus moves into Aries on Tuesday, March 6th at 6:46 p.m. EST, people become attracted to others because of their dash and spirit. This is a brilliant, exciting energy that is much different than Venus’ usual soothing, calm vibration.
How something or someone looks will become very important under the influence of this placement. Ultimately, choices in love will be made with the head rather than the heart now.
People can be emotionally impulsive now. One minute they will seem passionate and aggressive, then in the next minute they can turn cold and disinterested. Some will be more interested in conquest than settling down to a real relationship.
For many, these energies will provide a positive, cheerful attitude. If you’re an artist, this is an excellent time for being actively creative.
Jupiter, which is in Scorpio, will be turning retrograde on Thursday, March 8th, at 11:46 p.m. EST.
Jupiter has been in Scorpio since the first part of last October. It is here that emotional intenseness also expresses itself in the area of our values and beliefs. Jupiter has called to us to take a look at both of them and make clear within our minds what we truly do believe and value. It may very well be time to decide what holds promise and what is no longer useful and maybe even harmful. Time to let go.
In order to improve our situations, we must know our motives. To know our motives, we must consciously take account of our beliefs and values. It really is time to bring the unconscious into our consciousness so that we may cast off what is merely debris.
Jupiter in Scorpio energies ask us to make a sincere quest for truth and, no matter the pain, let go of that which no longer serves us.
And now Jupiter turns retrograde causing us to project to others what we believe to be the truth. However, what we have convinced ourselves of as the truth, we now realize is not the complete truth at all.
The retrograde motion of Jupiter has the potential to help us understand our personal truth on a deeper level. This may create both a heaven and a hell for some as they come to realize that the time has come to rise above the lower self which has been restricting them in their current life.
This is a journey which each of us must make alone and can leave us completely misunderstood by others. This is the opportunity Jupiter retrograde in Scorpio now offers us – rebirth in the discovery of our truth.
Finally…It’s that time of the year again, folks! Daylight Savings Time happens on Sunday, March 11th at 2:00 a.m. EST. Spring forward!
Wishing you all a wonderful, adventurous two weeks!
