Just as the seasons change – Spring into Summer; Summer into Fall – the Heavens also change with the procession of the year.
This year especially those changes are being felt as never before. The sudden, abrupt disruptions in our lives sometimes almost bring us to tears – if not actually doing so.
I’ve been feeling these changes myself, especially since the Sun went into Virgo last month. Their effect on my emotions was horrible and it has only been the Sun’s shift into Libra that has allowed me to remain rational to a greater extent.
These sudden, abrupt events and situations that are presenting themselves to us are, in my opinion, all part and parcel of our procession to the Age of Aquarius, which I believe we will truly enter on December 21, 2012.
You see, Aquarius is sudden, abrupt, eccentric. That’s what many are experiencing right now. Out of nowhere comes a situation or a person that totally disrupts the normal, the routine that we have become so accustomed to living. Actually, that’s exactly what should be happening right now.
We are moving toward a higher vibration as a people and as a planet. To resist, and you are allowed to resist, only brings more struggle and more problems. This is about the shedding of the old – that which doesn’t work any more; that which no longer serves us – for a new, higher vibration that allows us to look at things differently and respond to life differently – in a more positive manner.
So as my computer crashed this morning, I had to remind myself of all this. Although the Full Moon doesn’t occur until tomorrow night, I am feeling the effects of it and reminding myself that this is all part of the change happening on this planet for its people.
That Full Moon in Aries occurs on Saturday, September 29th at 11:19 p.m. EDT. This Full Moon is known as a Harvest Moon.
With Aries being the first sign of the zodiac, it literally begins Spring and, therefore, asks us to take a fresh, new look at our lives. It wants us to look at our pasts and how they relate to our present, while we look hopefully to our futures.
The sign of Aries is the ram symbolized by a set of horns that tells us we have come to a fork in the road and must now choose which way to go. The decision is ours and we have the right and free will to choose as we see fit.
There is a quickness to Aries and, being a fire sign, it may cause tempers to flare quickly. This won’t last long though. Neither will any depression incurred by having the energy of this Full Moon possibly throw your world a- kilter.
Know that the intense energies of this Full Moon are just offering you the opportunity to take a look at past and present so that you can choose the path your journey takes from here.
Venus transits into Virgo on Wednesday, October 3rd @ 2:59 a.m. EDT
The energy of this placement can make us overanalyze our emotions and be too critical of those we love. This can have the affect of others feeling self-conscious and inhibited, thus cutting off the natural flow of affection between us and them. Because of this, feelings of frustration and loneliness may be experienced.
This is a time when the energies can make us fastidious about our health, our appearance and even our manners. Virgo is the natural ruler of the 6th house of health and service, so taking a look at the possibility of emotional reasons behind health issues can be helped by this energy.
If you are a writer, actor or public speaker, now is an excellent time to practice your craft.
Jupiter in Gemini goes retrograde on Thursday, October 4th @ 9:18 a.m. EDT.
Here, we are being offered an opportunity to use these energies to unite our higher and lower minds. We all have experienced years of conflict between the two and are very accustomed to basing our lives and our decisions on the philosophies and ideas of other people. Thus, most of us have become separated from our own personal truth.
We have spent most of our lives absorbing these philosophies and ideas from outside ourselves without really taking the time to realize what is true for each of us on an individual basis.
Now along comes Jupiter in Gemini retrograde offering us the opportunity to take a practical approach to this and adopt what rings true for us while discarding that which doesn’t feel right or doesn’t apply.
If you are feeling frustrated and restless, especially after this retrograde motion happens, then I would say this retrograde has come to help you unite your higher mind with your lower mind and discover your own personal truth!
Mercury moves into Scorpio on Friday, October 5th @ 6:35 a.m. EDT bringing the qualities of a shrewd, sharp, powerful mind that has remarkably clear foresight and vision. Open yourself up to it!
There is a downside and that is that it can make people overly critical and completely ruthless if they feel threatened. Focusing your intent on higher aspirations and intentions will defuse these other traits.
Using the high vibrations of this placement allow your mind to be brilliant and also gives you the ability to fight for any noble cause.
This is an excellent time for all things of an occult and mystical nature.
On Friday, October 5th @ 4:33 p.m. EDT, Saturn will also move into Scorpio making it an excellent time for any responsibilities that deal with finances in any capacity – personal or business.
Thoroughness, persistence, and determination are the rule with Saturn in Scorpio, giving a drive for success that is equaled by only a few other positions. So let nothing hold you back, if you’ve been waiting for right time to venture forward into something new or re-launch something that needs refreshing.
Saturn in Scorpio can cause the harboring of deep resentment, especially if a person feels they have been dealt with unjustly. Be aware of this possibility now and express what you’re feeling to those concerned in those feelings. Nothing will diffuse a situation quicker than bringing it out into the light of day!
Finally we have Mars moving into Sagittarius on Saturday, October 6th @ 11:21 p.m. EDT.
These energies will touch you sense of justice and inner strength and courage based on a positive philosophy of life.
This is a great time for debating, persuading and popularizing anything you feel strongly about.
This placement can create a great deal of activity in ones life and, if you are affected by these energies, you may find yourself trying to live two lives at once or just cram excessive amounts to do in one life. Take care not to act too quickly. Stop and think before acting so nothing is done sloppily. Don’t allow molehills to become mountains in your perception.
This is a great time for expansion in any area of ones life: education, spiritual, psychic, etc. Just remember to look before you leap and think before you speak.
Well, I want to end this issue with a special “Thank you!” to my husband, Gary, for the use of his computer – without which this would not have been written.
I don’t know what else the Full Moon has in store for me, but I do know that I’m open to learning the lessons and receiving the blessings it may bring!
