Just in mere observation alone, one can see the effects of our solar system approaching the black hole at the center of our galaxy. Both in our private lives and in the lives of this planet, things are getting pretty chaotic. For some of us, things we never thought would happen are happening. For others, it seems like we’re being hit with one crisis after another to the point where some of us dread facing another day. Why is this happening to us, to others, to our planet?
I’ve already mentioned several times that time has been speeding up. That factor alone can cause chaos for us. I’ve also mentioned the date that coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar several times. Did the Mayans realize that on that date we would be at the center of our galaxy – a trip we take approximately every 26,000 years? Did they realize the possibility of a change for humanity based on the energy created by arriving there?
Let’s say, for the purpose of discussion, that somehow, some way the Mayans recognized that this journey to the center of the galaxy meant a change in consciousness for Mankind. Let’s say they knew it had happened before and would happen again. Would it be fair to consider the possibility that, for those who have come at this time to experience this change, there is a necessity to clear away the debris of fear, doubt, old habits and more in order to be open to receiving this new energy, in order to experience this change? I think it’s completely fair to consider this.
As I’ve said many times before, everything in this Universe – planets, stars, black holes, and even us – are ALL made of energy. To move closer to the center of our galaxy and experience the pull of this black hole, creates a whole new vibration that can affect any who are open to receive it. In order to be open to receive it, we have to clear away anything that could block it from reaching us.
Consider it to be like moving to a new house. When you ready yourself to move, you throw away all the clutter – all that no longer serve you. You pack up and take with you only that which will serve useful in the new place. That’s what’s happening here. We are being asked to rid ourselves of our excess baggage in order to vibrationally travel to a new “home”.
So, if you’re wondering why you or those close to you or even just the planet in general seems to be experiencing a great deal of crisis and chaos, now you know. Well,….at least from my point of view.
There is a New Moon in Virgo happening on Saturday, September 15th at 10:11 p.m. EDT. That means the Sun and Moon are both in the sign of Virgo, which lends an energy that makes everything dealing with relatives and home life important.
The energy of this combination can also increase self-reliance, independence and discrimination in ones nature, but watch for tendencies to be too self-contained or even self-centered.
For some affected by these energies, thoughts and actions will turn towards health and, as the New Moon is always a good time for new beginnings, this can lead to the start of a new diet or exercise routine. Take caution not to go to extremes though.
This is also a good time for healthy intellectual pursuits since Mercury rules Virgo – where both the Sun and Moon are at this time. If you’ve been thinking about taking a class or beginning a writing project, there could be no better time than when the New Moon and the Sun are in Virgo.
It’s also a good time to deal with anything that requires attention to detail, including Fall cleaning! Clean-up, fix-up, organize! Those are the energies promoted by this New Moon. So whether it’s your home, your mind or your body, the energies of this New Moon are saying go for it!
Mercury goes into Libra on Sunday, September 16th, at 7:22 p.m. EDT providing energies that want to investigate such fields as astrology, psychology, and sociology. There’s a curiosity about how the mind works and how humans relate. These energies may make you really want to understand what it’s like to stand in the other person’s shoes.
You won’t want to just think about it though. You’ll be looking for people to have discussions about it with. People with refined minds, who like intellectual and philosophical discussions will be those you seek out now.
Decisions right now won’t be made until you’ve looked at all angles of a situation or problem. It’s good to be thorough, but don’t allow indecision to cause you to have an opportunity pass you by.
A really wonderful time for all intellectual pursuits!
The retrograde motion of Pluto, like another retrograde, with its energies flowing back to us, allowed us the opportunity to contemplate our philosophies and identity and how they fit into the society in which we find ourselves living. Now, with its forward motion, we are given to opportunity to take what we have learned about ourselves out into the world and become our own authority, thus establishing our individuality, using that uniqueness to enhance the quality of living not only for ourselves but others as well.
Capricorn is about being reliable, practical, persistent and patient (to name a few), while Pluto represents those things which have not yet been integrated into the collective consciousness as well as the urge to transform, to regenerate – thus bringing rebirth. Pluto in Capricorn asks us to patiently, persistently and reliably bring our individuality to the whole (collective consciousness) to transform, regenerate and rebirth it into something more than it was without us.
What a wonderful opportunity we are all being offered by this energy!
Begun in 1982, the day begins each year with the ringing of the Peace Bell at the United Nations in New York. This bell was cast from coins donated by children from all continents, except Africa, and was a gift from the United Nations Association from Japan.
The inscription on the bell reads: “Long live absolute world peace.”
To quote the Beatles: “All we are saying is give peace a chance.”
Wow! Has it really been six months since the Sun moved into Aries and we celebrated the Spring Equinox? Guess it has because on Saturday, September 22 at 10:49 a.m. EDT day and night will once again be equal as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox!!!
This is the time when the Sun moves into Libra and, although many would like to believe that the sign of Libra guarantees balance, the truth is, it brings the lesson of balance to some, if not all, areas of our lives.
Being an air sign, it often has something to do with communication in some form and/or looking at things from all sides or at least a different perspective.
It can also have to do with finding harmony in ones life, which is a balance in its own right. And, yes, it can have to do with decision-making because sometimes we get caught up in looking at things from too many sides for too often just to delay making that decision.
The energies of the Sun in Libra offer us a wonderful opportunity to allow harmony and balance into our lives as we overcome fear and doubt.
This is a state holiday in California and has been for quite some time, but is recognized and celebrated by other states and peoples.
This is a wonderful time to celebrate your roots, should you be Native American, or to learn the customs and history of the Native people if you aren’t Native American.
Well, I’ve been a little long-winded this time, but I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Until we meet again, may you find wonder and amazement in the world that surrounds you and in the stars that light the sky at night.
