From my writings, you know that I’ve been an astrologer for around 40 years. I’ve been fascinated by the accuracy of the meanings of the planets and their positions at the time of ones birth since before I really understood that “everything is energy.” Once I did realize and understand that statement, I was even more awed by the information one can glean about ones chosen path by looking at the energies that an individual chose to birth themselves in for this incarnation.
I realize many people still think of astrology as fortunetelling or fear it because they believe what it will reveal is a predestination that can’t be altered. Neither is the case and I’ve pondered for years about how to get people to really understand how valuable the information that one can uncover from having a natal chart done can be. I’m still at a loss.
Perhaps, with my Aquarius rising, I’m still ahead of my time in seeing the extreme value of having and understanding what a natal chart can reveal. I’m not sure.
There’s a great frustration in knowing that I have a tool that can help people improve their lives and help them heal themselves in so many ways, but not being able to get them to understand. I can hand you a key that may unlock many doors and reveal many things that you have long wondered about and sought answers for. It is true – “You can led a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink.” So I wait…willing and prepared…for when the time arrives and people realize there is someone who has a personal guidebook to this journey on Planet Earth and find their way to me.

For those of us who follow Earth-based spiritual paths, Wednesday, August 1st is known as Lammas or Lughnasadh. This is the first of three harvests celebrated by nature-oriented people. Lammas is said to come from “loaf-mass”, the time when the first corn was harvested. In the days before government established holidays, this was the great season for fairs and gatherings of tribes to celebrate the harvest, barter and sell their wares, and take care of business matters. It resembled modern-day county fairs with competitions, contests and celebration. May your harvest be bountiful in all areas of your life!
This Full Moon brings energies to intensify the imagination. If used positively, this can mean great achievements in anything artistic and even in your life in general. Pay heed, though, to any creative negative turns your mind and ego may want to take. These are the result of fear and doubt. Instead, with the wonder and innocence of a child, look to the infinite possibilities of what can be.
That which is out-of-the-ordinary is another aspect of the energies of this placement. Perhaps this Full Moon is calling to you to do something that takes you out of your routine. “Come take an adventure with me!” it says. Will you be spontaneous and courageous enough to answer the call?
In combination with the Sun in Leo, it brings high intuition and the ability to assess human nature quickly. It also adds a great deal of will power and determination to ones nature.
This is definitely a Full Moon offering us an adventure into the unusual for a change of pace and opening new doors in our lives!
Keyword…LOVE, love and more love! This, however, is as much, if not more, about love of self as it is about seeking external love. Without that internal love, external love is never quite fulfilling – never quite enough.
There is intense sentiment and emotions are running deep and quiet inside. This connects the emotions to the health and makes understanding oneself emotionally even more important.
That which is domestic and family-oriented is highlighted during this transit. Those affected by these energies may find themselves finding comfort in their homes and in food. Overeating can be a problem that should be watched for the sake of the health. Share your home and your desire to cook or bake with a gathering of friends and family. It will lift your spirits!
The Perseid Meteor Shower will occur on August 12th – 13th with it beginning at about 9:30 p.m. EDT on the 12th. It can be viewed by looking at the constellation of Perseus as it rises on the northeast horizon. The meteor shower grows more spectacular in the early morning hours before dawn. You can expect to see about 40 meteors per hour. So grab your lawn chair, something to drink and either a telescope or camera and enjoy!!!
Well, that’s it for this issue. Just a reminder to tune in on Tuesday night, July 31st, at 7 p.m. EDT for my very first radio interview – http://www.blogtalkradio.com/search/inner-voice-intuitive-hour-with-jenny-sieck/
